Who the heck are we?

I am Jon Taylor, an average guy with a semi-sedentary lifestyle.  I am a FAN of fitness, but not exactly fit myself.  I have teamed up with some great guys; fellow average guy Jesse Colucci and marathon runner/triathlete/mountain biker Graham Raymond.  Together we are going to train for 365 days and get Jesse and I into triathlon running shape, and maybe along the way inspire a permanent change in the way we live.

After NEVER running in our entire life, Jesse and I signed up for a 5K, and in after three weeks of training, we ran it in 25 Minutes.

I dropped some coin and brought home a Specialized Rockhopper.  Entry level, sure, but this bike is lightweight and durable.  You’ll notice Graham is riding a Yeti, and according to him, it’s the best bike ever made.  Jesse is still shopping for his bike.

Danah is a triathlete and marathon runner and is also Grahams wife!

Also on our support team is professional trainer Danah Raymond, Grahams wife, she’ll be looking out for us by helping us plan our training sessions and keep us from getting hurt (as if anybody could).

The bottom line is, we are going to try our hardest to not only run the tri, we are going to place!  Steep goal? Lofty Ambition?  Maybe.  But we’ll become better people in the process!
